If you’re now back to work and feeling the January blues like everyone else, there’s a fair chance that one of the first things you’ll have done is start thinking about holidays. Are we right?
Well, as travel planners we know how precious your time off is, which is why we’re here to help. If you’re based in the UK and haven’t already spotted this little travel hack, we’re here to help you make your holiday days for 2019 stretch even further. Fancy 18 days off for only 9 days annual leave? Thought so.
It just so happens that the April and May bank holidays fall rather conveniently this year, allowing those who work in the UK Monday – Friday to capitalise on this and bag yourself some sneaky extended time off.
By being smart and booking annual leave in the days between Easter Monday and May Day, you’ll be getting yourself nearly three weeks off (from Friday 19th April through to Monday 6th May inclusive). Our little calendar below shows in green the bank holidays/weekends, and in yellow the days you need to take off. Easy!
Now, all you need to do is sneak it through the boss… and get in before anyone else does!
Oh, and if you need some inspiration on where to go during your 2.5 weeks off, either join our FREE Facebook group, The World Uncovered, for ideas from our community of fellow travel-lovers, or give us a shout to book in a 1-to-1 tailored inspiration session.
